Here it is the second day of December and I've already spotted the first batch of migrating robins from my perch in Florida. Since I usually don't see them until January, I'm going to conclude that we are in for a very cold winter. The birds alway know, I think.

  1. We were in central Florida for a month and the weather was fabulous. As soon as I crossed the border and neared Valdosta Ga it started to rain. When we got to northeast Georgia it was dismal and rainy and windy and cold.
    Oh well.

  2. My sister-in-law said the squirrels took a lot more nuts from the trees in her neighborhood this fall. She concluded the same thing you did, and I think it has been colder this winter. I hope your holidays were lovely!
